Concrete Printing and Rebars
A unique feature with MudBots printers is the ability to print forms for flatwork and footings.  Users can print to within an inch of rebar as seen in the image. What most don’t realize is that there are mixes that have the structural strength and tensile properties that eliminate the need for rebar all together.  Engineers are already adapting to the benefits of concrete printing by specking wall systems that are rebar free which lowers the cost of the wall as well as the electrical and plumbing.
